Chisolm Trail Special
Chisolm Trail Special is a quick, easy, and really kid friendly breakfast.
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 hot dogs
- 4 eggs
- ½ tsp season salt
- ½ cup shredded Monterey Jack Cheese
- Slice hot dogs about an inch thick.
- Place olive oil in frying pan.
- Once oil is heated- place hot dogs in pan.
- Fry hot dogs until browned on both sides.
- Place eggs in a mixing bowl, add season salt and whisk.
- Pour eggs over hot dogs. Use spatula to mix and fluff eggs until done.
- Add cheese and serve.
- You can replace the hot dogs with smoked sausage or add salsa on top of cheese.
