Nut-Free Pesto

As flavor-packed as traditional pesto, without the pine nuts.

  • 4 cups fresh basil
  • ½ cup good-quality olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp oatmeal
  • 1 tsp bottled minced garlic
  • Salt to taste

    Place all ingredients in a food processor.

    Pulse until a fine paste is formed.

    Serve with pasta or use in any recipe calling for pesto.
