Pear Bunny

Turn boring canned pears on its ear by whipping up a cute little dessert that's definitely NOT rabbit food!

  • can of pear halves
  • mini marshmallows
  • raisins
  • red or pink M&M for the nose (but let's be honest, any M&M will do, kids aren't so picky!)
  • baby carrots
  • a straw
  • 1
Cut up straw into 1.5 inch pieces for whiskers
  • 2
Put a pear half on a plate (flat side down)
  • 3
Use two carrots for the ears
  • 4
Push in two raisins for the eyes
  • 5
Put the M&M in for the nose and then stick whiskers in
  • 6
Stick a marshmallow on the back for a tail
  • 7
You can be all realistic and serve it on a bed of lettuce, but since my kids think lettuce is "the grossest thing on the planet" (hello, it's lettuce!), I skipped this step. That said, I debated surrounding it with Veggie Booty but that seemed gross to ME! So, choose whatever you want to place the bunny on—ice cream, veggies, or a paper plate, etc. and enjoy!
