Lamb and Lentil Stew

Lamb and Lentil Stew

  • Onions
  • Red peppers
  • Ground lamb
  • Salt and pepper
  • Beef stock
  • Lentils
  • Water (if needed)
  • Whole canned tomatoes
  • McCormick Greek Seasoning (if not available maybe try Curry instead)

    Caramelize or sauté onions and red peppers.

    Add lamb and brown. Salt and pepper to taste.

    Pour in Beef Stock (you can use chicken or vegetable stock if you don't eat beef).

    Add dried lentils.
  • 5
    Heat on medium for some time.
  • 6
    Add the whole canned tomatoes and seasoning (either Greek or curry).

    Simmer for a few hours.
  • Much of the directions depends on which cooking method that you use. You can make with crock pot, stove top or pressure cooker. That is why I did not put exact times for anything. The longer it simmers the better it tastes.
