Joe Lando's Garlic Knots

<!-- -->

Actor Joe Lando shares his recipe for garlic knots. . .And if you have kids who like garlic, they'll devour these things!

  • 2 lbs store-bought pizza dough
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tbsp dried oregano
  • Salt and white pepper
  • 1
    Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • 2
Roll dough out into a wide rectangle and cut into 3- by 1-inch strips.
  • 3
Tie a loose knot in each strip and place on a lightly greased baking sheet, about 1 inch apart.
  • 4
Bake 20-25 minutes, until golden brown.
  • 5
While dough bakes, combine olive oil, minced garlic, Parmesan, oregano, salt and pepper in a large bowl.
  • 6
Remove rolls from oven and immediately toss in olive oil and garlic mixture.
  • 7
Remove to a plate and serve immediately.
  • You can substitute store bought crescent roll dough for the pizza dough.
  • Let the kids help by giving them a dough cutter instead of a knife to cut the strips.
