Joe Lando's Garlic Knots

Actor Joe Lando shares his recipe for garlic knots. . .And if you have kids who like garlic, they'll devour these things!
- 2 lbs store-bought pizza dough
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 tbsp dried oregano
- Salt and white pepper
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Roll dough out into a wide rectangle and cut into 3- by 1-inch strips.
Tie a loose knot in each strip and place on a lightly greased baking sheet, about 1 inch apart.
Bake 20-25 minutes, until golden brown.
While dough bakes, combine olive oil, minced garlic, Parmesan, oregano, salt and pepper in a large bowl.
Remove rolls from oven and immediately toss in olive oil and garlic mixture.
Remove to a plate and serve immediately.

- You can substitute store bought crescent roll dough for the pizza dough.
- Let the kids help by giving them a dough cutter instead of a knife to cut the strips.
