Alfredo is one of my favorite treats, but last night, I tried using a can of chicken broth instead of some of the half-and-half. I don't recommend this...it was so salty! Go all out and use garlic, butter, 2 cups of half-and-half and lots of parmesan. If you want to be a little healthier, go with a healthier pasta, like whole wheat, Dreamfields, or the Barilla in the yellow box. Just don't skimp on the cream!
