Whole-Grain Waffles With Blueberries

Waffles, berries, sausage and syrup. We're coming to your house for breakfast.

  • 3 Kashi whole-grain frozen waffles
  • 2 cups frozen blueberries
  • ¾ cup plain low-fat yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon real maple syrup
  • 3 Morning Star vegetarian sausage patties
  • 1
    Place frozen blueberries in bowl, cover and microwave on high for 90 seconds or until thawed and slightly warm.

    Place frozen sausage patties on plate, cover with paper towel, and microwave for 1 minute or until heated through.

    While sausages are heating up, toast waffles until lightly browned.

    Place toasted waffles on plate, slightly overlapping; top with yogurt and berries.

    Place sausage next to waffles, then drizzle maple syrup over everything. Serves one adult and one kid. Double (or quadruple!) to accommodate your family!
  • Thaw berries overnight in the fridge to save a little prep time.
