Root Beer Shredded Pork

Pop goes the sandwich!

  • 1 (2-lb) boneless pork roast
  • 1 can root beer (or your favorite soda)
  • 1 bottle barbecue sauce
  • 1
    Put the roast in the crock pot and pour soda over it. Cook on LOW for 2 hours.
  • 2
    Add the barbecue sauce and cook on HIGH for 2-4 hours (typically won't hurt if you leave it in longer).

    The meat should shred easily with a fork when it is ready. Serve on sandwiches.
