Movie theater shooting in Colorado

I saw that article and they had valid points about the cost of his weapons and unemployment, but what the news forgot to mention is unregistered guns can be bought by shady people at an extremely cheap rate. Especially if the guy was a schizophrenic he probably had deliriums for quite some time and did not purchase the weapons in one plot. Their thesis about the shooting being government planned only focused on one perspective rather than looking at all of the aspects of this case just trying to cause controversy and ratings to an already traumatic event.

I just hope everyone who had any relation to this will be helped by the government to get the counseling and help they need, although i know the government has enough problems it's sad. Maybe someone can run a fundraiser for the surviving family and victoms. However the story can have a light side, there are good hearted people who were willing to risk their life to help in such a life defying experience encountered

Also just wanted to say to the original poster THANK YOU for referring to this tragedy as a movie theater shooting rather than The Batman Massacre.  Again, another way for the media to sensationalize the whole incident. 

I'm not sure what to think. The whole thing is just so sad. :(

I am sort of glad we do not have TV now. The 24-7 coverage would bother me a bit and all the speculation.

I am not sure  about any of the theories of other people being involved. Crazy people tend to be unreliable and I am not sure what the goal would have been to set it up this way. I can't imagine that it serves any sort of purpose at all.

From what I have read, he seems to be in a schizophrenic downward spiral. It was also reported he was on vicoden and that can cause halucinations if he was taking it over a long period of time.

All very sad. It is not just the people who were hurt and killed and their families going through this that makes it so troubling. When a young person with potential goes off the deep end like this, or in any way really by turning to drugs or just throwing their life away, it is very tragic.
