B iggest loser group
Ok, I'm a dink, I tried to start this before then totally got sidetracked when I decided it was just too early after baby to really work out. ( did two days of Jillian and started bleeding eek)
So anyways, I am back and would love to support eachother through weight loss, and getting in shape, especially during the holidays :).
I have lost now 24 lbs since baby (lost more, gained a couple back :() and only gained 18in total with her, so really not too shabby, but I got at least 3o to go before I feel really healthy and strong again.

That is awesome Clare!
I have been running in the mornings and I can run almost the 2.5 mile loop that is around my neighborhood.... the kicker is that it is the equivalent of 27 flights of stairs (I have a Fit bit that calculates the flights of stairs you climb by your evalvation).
I felt like jumping up and down when I made it up the second big hill yesterday!
I took a picture the other day to have some friends help me pick out shoes for a dress and I can see a difference so I thought I would share
Here was me before I started

and here I am now... (Don't mind my hand behind my back - the dress is too big and I need to take it in so I am just hold the excess back
If 40 lbs makes that much differnce I can't wait to get off the next 40!

Well after 3 weeks in America and another week away from home I still managed to lose 4.5lbs in that time - yay! Hopefully I can keep this going. On a funny(ish) side note...when I arrived in America my fiance and his grandmother picked me up at the airport and BOTH commented on how small my bum was now...I never knew it was quite so huge until ANOTHER person also told me it was much smaller, i was like wooow

congrats on the 2 lbs! I'll be getting weighed on Tuesday after my three weeks in the US so we'll see what that's done to the weight loss (not a lot of good I'm sure lol). Totally sad to be going home but at least I'll get the weight loss back on track :)

So, sometime soon I will post pictures, just gotta get someone to take a good one of me now!
So, now I can pull my shorts away from my stomach about two inches! That's without sucking in! I feel like I lost some wait, but I'm afraid the scale is going to lie to me!

I would hold off just because I like having something to work toward. But you have done amazing so if you really want it go for it!

I agree, get the tattoo! You've done amazing so far and you can always set another mini reward for 50lbs just to still give you that incentive. Fun day out with the family or something :) I really want a tattoo too and was thinking of getting it while I'm in America this time but I'm still undecided lol

I would get it now so it would be healed by the wedding! If you were someone who would stop trying after you got it, I would say wait, but since you don't strike me as someone who would just quit because you got the tatoo, I say go for it! In the end you get the biggest reward anyway, a healthier skinnier you!

Shekee you definitely don't look that weight! I lost another 4 lbs today so overall that's 20lbs in 6 weeks. I'm heading back to see my fiance in 10 days so hopefully I can get a little more off before then :)
awesome!!!! You are doing so great!!
I have a conundrom. I have a wedding coming up mid August. I would like to have my "reward" by then, my 50lb loss reward is going to a tattoo that my dh has drawn for me.
I am at 41lbs loss. 9 lbs by mid August is possible but the thing is, It would take a couple weeks to heal as all tattoos do. 9lbs by the end of July, prolly not going to happen. I mean I am just being honest, I am working my ass off, and i will continue to do so but lets be realistic I am just not at that point where I lose a couple lbs a week.
So the question is would you still get the tattoo, just make it for all the work thus far? Or would you hold off till you hit the 50?
My entire family extended included will be ther and it will be a great opportunity to show off the new tat. That's why I would like to have it done by then. I also am being honest about the fact that I am not stopping tattoo or not, I haven't rewarded myself so far because it hasn't been and isnt about that, I just thought a reward was a fun idea and 50 is a good round number, lol.
Thoughts? What would you do?

I just replied to your other post but then I thought of something else so figured I'd post it here. Maybe you could do what shekee did and make a before and after photo because I'm sure with 40lbs lost you look different! That might motivate you to lose some more? I think you've done great so far
