I absolutely LOVE the Olympics and I am so bummed that we don't have cable anymore because I am going to miss them this year :(
Isn't it on network TV?? We don't have cable either and I'll be really sad if we have to miss them! I love watching gymnastics and diving, especially!
We can't even have a converter box in our house with all of the trees :( They should be on NBC.

I know I am in the minority but I am not a huge fan. I love seeing the results and cheering them on but I don't watch too much. I watch volleyball the most becuase my husband loves it

I live in England, I don't know about anyone else here, but the Olympics are ALL I hear about.. Kind of annoying. I'm already over it! My husband really wants to take the boys, Hannah and my nephew Nigel, so we are going to go to something..
Same here!!! All the adverts, tv programmes and the radio...all they talk about is the Olympics!!! Zack is super excited though, we have quite a few tickets to a range of sports so yeah I am kinda excited!!!
Out of curiosity, what are the ticket prices like? If I lived in England I would SO go! And I live in the US and the Olympics is all we are hearing about too.
Since my husband works in management at a productions company in London (3 days a week) and they have people working at the olympics those employees & management were able to choose between the company paying for them to go to the opening or closing ceromines which is nice because it's was about £1,500 per person for opening and closing is was about £1,000 per person.. (I'm sure his company received a really good deal though with them working things, otherwise we wouldn't of gotten them) We chose opening, but my husband bought us ones for the closing too. The events themselves are considerably cheaper (ranging from £20 to £400... I think) It honestly depends the event and the quality of tickets. I don't know how much my husband paid per ticket, I just know the final cost for it all. :/ Although, I did realise after I responded that I'll be on holiday with my little sister the day after the opening ceremonies, so I'll go to that. Everything else he can take his brother or Hannah's (his daughter) mum with him. I don't think he could handle 2 teenagers and 2 kiddies by himself!
By the way pretty much all prices I listed, I don't know exactly on. I'm just going off what I've heard from Jack, friends, friends, radio, telly and random people on the tube. So I could be dead wrong. The only definite thing I know is how much money in total Jack has spent!
