Nintendo DS
Anyone care to share their experiences/preferences when it comes to the DS varieties? We're thinking about getting Morgan a new one for x-mas (she has the original DS, which is older than she is!) and I'm looking at them online and feeling confused. Any help would be much appreciated!

They have a 3D video game system now?? I feel SO old ... lol!
i remember when gameboy color came out!
LOL. I still have very fond memories of my original GameBoy. I saved up and bought a battery-operated light that attached to it so I could play in the dark! I never had the color version, but I was excited when Jason bought the original DS when it came out. He was a manager for GameStop then, so he was able to get them for our friends who wanted them, because they went fast that year!

I've heard that the 3DS shouldn't be played in 3D for longer than 10 minutes. That is a bit frightening.
Good to know about the Nerf case! Thanks!

Gigi has a DS lite. for most of what kids today want to do with it the DS lite is a good option.
This is what my little guy has and it's great. He really enjoys it!

for some reason the 3ds comes with a physicians warning that it is not for children under 7, something aobut the development of the eye muscles.
the Non 3d DS comes in several sizes, one being XL which soulds great b/c who wouldnt want a bigger screen right? only problem is if you have a young child it can be difficult if not impossible for them to actaully play it.

one accessory i cant suggest enough is the nerf DS case. these kids have dropped theirs i dont know how many times and they're still rolling.
