Do you stay at home with your kids on Christmas Day or do you visit family during the day?

Now that we have kids I make sure we are home on Christmas morning (because that is when Santa comes).

We traveled the boys' 1st Christmas but have been home for Christmas since then. DH usually works Christmas Eve and our families are all pretty far away (the closest are my parents at 600 miles).

We always stay at home for Christmas. Ever since Zack and I got married 3 years ago, his mum and sister have come up. Amy (his sister) would open her christmas stocking presents at our house (shes 13 now) and this year she can help Autumn with hers! And then we all trek over to my parents house and the kids (thats my 11 nephews, 9 nieces, Amy and Autumn) open their bigger presents and we have Christmas dinner. Then of course the adults open theirs. I lve being surrounded by family at Christmas :)

We stay at home, everyone comes to us every year! That way my stepdaughter can spend Christmas with both her parents and not choose between her mum and dad, yet I still get to see my siblings/cousins/aunts/uncles/mum 'cause they'll travel. It works best for everyone that way.

We stay home as well, but that is because we don't live near any of our family.  Last year we flew out on Christmas morning to Missouri and we had a great time and NO ONE was flying on Christmas day, but I will be glad to be home this year :)

I prefer to stay home and do our house to house hopping on a different day.
