So does anyone have one of these?
I just got one for the kids and I don't think they really know what to think of it. The first night my son was scared to death of him but I think he has gotten over it.
If you have one has your Elf done anything silly? What is their name?

I brought one for my son last year and have one packaed for chrissy for my daughter! My son loves it! So we chose to buy indi one! They are great

The Elf comes with a Book and your children need to name the Elf. He watches what you do and flies back to the North Pole every night to tell Santa how they were doing. He comes back and each morning the children need to find him.

We also got elf on a shelf this year. William our my four year old LOVES him. He looks for him every morning and he always does nice things for his brother right in front of our elf. I think he is trying to make sure jingles knows that he is being a good boy.
However Alexander who is 2 does nor really understand yet. He just looks at him like he is crazy.
William named him Jingles because he LOVES the song jingle bells I think I hear William singing that song 20 times a day!!!

That gallery is too funny! I hear so much about the Elf on the Shelf but have no idea what it is. Does the Elf hide in different places everyday for your children to find?

Our elf is a girl and they named her Tink.
I love how they get excited to find her each morning. I have been checking out the ideas on Pinterest becaue I am sure that in couple of days I will be out of my own!

Love Elf on the Shelf, and yes, go to Pinterest to get ideas! Liliana named ours Pee Wee, and so far, he has been behaving and being a nice elf. Liliana touched him the other day by tying a balloon to his leg when he was on Santa's lap reading a xmas book. We had to make up a story on how Pee Wee got his magic back so that he can fly. Next time he gets touched, I will have this ready for him.

I am going to start doing some funny stuff with him this week. A friend posted a picture of her elf tied up and a few Ninjagos around him telling him to "stay away," that this was "their home". I laughed, but I wouldnt want Lily and Liam to see that some other toys were attacking their elf. To each his own right?
