I need to think of two different kinds of snacks to bring to my boys' preschool Valentine's party. There's usually a range of things from sandwiches to pretzels/chips to various sweet treats. Any suggestions for something Valentine's themed that would be fun and not too hard to make? We can't do nuts or cinnamon but anything else is fair game. :)

I would make rice crispie treats with pink marshmallows. you can even sprinkle little red, white and pink sprinkels on them as well while they are "settling". It seems simple, but these are always a hit.

One year my mom and her friend and I made heart shaped cupcakes and decorated them like the conversation hearts. If your kids are old enough to help this could be a LOT of fun. If they aren't that old could be frustrating.

My only other snack is "bacon and eggs" you put two pretzel sticks parallel to each other and a little apart melt white chocolate and pour it in a circle on top of the tw0 and add a yellow m&m in the middle. Two strips of "bacon" and an "egg".

-Also you can do the same with ritz cracker, white chocolate and green m&ms and make "green eggs and ham"

These are adorable little pies. I have seen little pies like that on a stick. Pie Pops? I think they are called?

I like these for a healthy alternative though I wonder if there is a way to put them together without a toothpick. Maybe some cream cheese or hummus dip?

Here is a list of a few different snacks. I have done the pretzels for other occasions and they are always a hit.
