How often do you go grocery shopping?

In our household, my husband does all the grocery shopping. About 10 years ago, we made a bet who was the better shopper (it was just for FUN). Well, he WON! He did a better job than I did. So I told him since he proved to be a much better shopper, he got the job. It works for us, especially since the store is literally right next door to his job.  How often do we shop? It does depend on the type of week and season. Right now its NASCAR season in our home, so Saturdays and Sundays we might need to go to the store. But it's usually every Friday (Safeway has these $5 deals), every Tuesday (the stores sales begin). So, 2 or 3 time a week.  He shops. We EAT!!!! :P 

Every other day, our grocery shopping is done at wal-mart and I shop for other items as well.

2-3 times a week.  I do small amounts, since you never know what anyone wants day to day, plus I like fresh groceries.

I go shopping for groceries Once a Fortnight, Shopping for a family of 4 we spend at a minimum on groceries $350 MINIMUM! Its kind of rediculous how expensive it can be.

Before the kids I worked right next to a grocery store and it was so nice because I was able to stop by whenever.  I wish I was able to go more often (for the produce alone)

This sounds so lackadaisacal, but I just go shopping whenever I notice that there isn't enough food around. lol. the kids come to our house every Friday, so we usually go out as a family and get some things for the weekend each week.

We go major grocery shopping once a week and then we'll go do a small trip usually for milk, fruit and/or meat (stuff that doesn't last a week)..

My bf and I go together just because its sooooo much easier with two of us. And we went grocery shopping on our first date so its now kinda our thing.

(Almost) Every Sunday my SO and I make a shoppinglist and then we (usually) both go shopping Monday. We're pretty relaxed about it, so we never get all we need and we make small trips during the week too :)

I've found that for me, smaller trips work better, so I go 2-3 times a week. I tend to spend less and have less waste that way.

Every other week for big shopping and every other night for veggies and fruit.

We usually meal plan for an entire week and get groceries for those meals on Sunday or Monday. I usually end up back there for milk or bread or something else before the next trip though.

I go once a week and I really try not to go back for anything because I overspend if I do.

Pretty much weekly, though occasionally I'll need an extra quick trip in between.

I go atleast every fortnight. I try to go once a week but I don't always get time. 

I go to different stores for different items. I used to try to do it all on one day, but found it more managable to stagger my trips throughout the week. My main food shopping, local grocery plus Trader Joe's, is done once a week. I go to Target once every week or two for toiletry items, canned items and other non-perishables since it's way cheaper there than at our grocery store. Every few weeks, I have to go to Whole Foods to get some allergy safe products that no one else seems to sell. I stock up when I'm there so I don't have to go often, plus you get a discount for buying a case worth of product.
