Tax refund...
Are you getting one this year?
Are you doing anything fun with it if you are?

I am hoping we get something back but I'm a little doubtful. Money is a serious source of stress lately but hopefully next tax season it'll be much better. We have so many bills/debt so if we get anything back we will put it all towards something we need to pay down/off.

We are both getting back. I am religious about keeping every single receipt for everything and I am regementted in keeping track of every penny for tax purposes all year long. I got sick of people charging me so much money to do our taxes a couple of years ago, so I took the bull by the horns and studied up on everything tax related. I spent hours and hours of my free time figuring out what to do, and I refresh myself every year on new tax law. It sounds like an arduous task, but it really isn't and I enjoy being able to take advantage of the knowledge, really. I found that there is SO MUCH that tax preparers don't ask you and you may never even know that it could be to your benefit to mention to them. Seriously, I thought I was about as regemented as I could be, and things were still being missed.
So I do our own now, and it really isn't that hard. Marc and his ex wife never got a penny back, and usually had to pay in more than I would have ever thought they should! I think they trusted their tax preparer too much and just weren't sure of what could benefit them and how. Now, we both get refunds (He owed a little bit to Fed, but is getting back state). We're going to pay off our reception/wedding venue and the catering expenses upfront for our wedding in November with ours. That is a big load off my mind, since that is the bulk of the expense! Now we just have to pay for decorations, drinks (venue makes us bring our own) invites and stuff like that.

We have not done our taxes yet but I think we will be getting back a pretty good refund that will go right into the bank and stay there after we let the boys pick out a new toy.

We are going to get a refund this year. We are putting in the bank. Hopefully we will be moving this year so we are going to save it for that.

We are getting a good amount back, but less from fed this year and more from state!
Last year we planned to stay at a resort for a 4 day weekend for our 10 year anniversary, but instead we went to visit my aunt in Michigan for the 4 days! 3 days after we left she passed away, so it was money better spent!
This year we plan to pay of some credit cards!

Yes, we usually get around the same amount. This year was strange because we are getting more federal back but we owe the state, which is odd, but it still ends up being about the same amount total so we're happy! :) We usually do something fun with it, but since my husband is starting his new commission-based career it's going to be part of our cushion if we need it. If we don't need it for bills, it'll probably go towards home improvements.

I am not sure we are getting one but we usually do. It is kind of strange since they count some of the moving expenses paid by the company as income so we may not get much back. I think, because we had some big expenses with our house that we can deduct, we should not owe money but we are not expecting much.
If we do have a return, it will be used for moving expenses since we are moving again in June. yay. The company is paying for the move again but there are always things that end up costing a bunch.

we are getting back but we are just putting it in savings. We kinda live off of it the rest of the year
