I'm learning how to teach swim lessons and today we were discussing how to teach young kids how to get help if there's an emergency. A song I heard once came to mind, but I don't know what it's called or if there's any more than what I remember:

There's a fire

There's a fire

Call 9-1-1

(repeat x2)

I don't remember where I heard it either. Anyone know it?

Quoting lilybell

I had never heard it but I googled it and found.

There's A Fire

There's A Fire

9-1-1

9-1-1

Call the Fire Department

Call the Fire Department

9-1-1

9-1-1

(that was all that was on there. but it said if you make up other verses its better not to include "tramatic" scenarios because they invoke more dread than a fire)

We will be adapting it to a pool setting and we are always careful not to mention anything scary when teaching water safety (generally we use the Whale Tales program)
