No My She Dose 'Not Have A Cell Phone She Just In 4 Grade And She Going On Age 10 Yrs She Will Get A Phone When She Is In High School Thanks Nancy Avila And Family Have A Great Day Everyone It Friday Yeah:
My kid is too small now. But I think I'll give it him when he will be 4-5 years old. It will make calm

I only have one of cell phone age right now (14) and he isn't getting another one from us. He hasn't shown he can be responsible with them. He's lost 1 and broke 2. We are done buying them for him. If he wants one, he can buy and pay for it himself.
The other two can have them when they're older. More so that we can get in touch with them if need be.
Yep. My DD is 9 and has started doing more things independtly. Going to her best friends', walking up to a mile away to go to the store (with a friend), trail riding (with a friend, but without me). She's well-versed in dialing 911 and the phone is the security I need to let her have her independence.
I trust her. IF she abuses that trust, it will rescinded until I feel I can give it again. But I don't believe in starting with mistrust and believing the worst, or assuming the worst. And she's never lost my trust in any major way, and has no desire to.
no my son doesn't have one. He is only 3 and i don't know how i feel about kids having them. maybe we can bring back pagers...: "call mom"... or "get home". i know kids who use sexting all the time, including my generation, so if i got them a cell phone maybe it would be strictly emergency only, no texting, but then again if i can trust my boys then minutes might become a reward system
I believe children below the age of 15, should not be provided with cell phones. Cell phones now bought by children for a stly statement. Cell phones should not be given to children at an early age because it has lots of disadvatges. A cell phones now has lots of added features such as games, net surfing, music, watching movies. All these can be distraction for children. Thus, it is important to make sure that parents give cell phones to their children at an age when they become responsible.
no, though he is not even 1 yet.
my DF and i have talked about when we would consider getting him one. we both agree not until he is 16 or possibly high school. but no earlier. if he needs a phone before then he can use ours or will be with someone with phone.
kids now a days are to ooooo computer/phone/ipod/ipad etc... and dont even know how to have fun with out something that requires power attatched to them.
My 11 year old does. it seemed like he was the last one in his group to get one. Just got it about two months ago.

I don't have any children, I do however sell cell phones. The youngest child that I have sold a phone for was 4. When the parent told her to pick out which one she wanted I almost died. The mom did get insurance for it but I couldn't believe she was that young.
Yes and I think they should have cell phone facility and be aware of latest technology.
I guess kids can have their own cellphones if only if they are on the right age and of course with enough guidance from their parents. Also their studies must not be compromised.

Yup! My oldesdt does anyway. We got her an Iphone for her 11th birthday. She pitches in on the bill with her allowance though, just to teach her responsibility with it. I don't plan to give my two youngest (5&1) a phone any time soon!
