I'll spell it out for you M-C-C-A-I-N

MILITARY leadership and experience matters. McCain's record in military judgment is amazingly on target. I am not saying he has been a prophet on the outcome of military endeavors but let's take a brief look at his experience in action: He was correct in his 1983 vote about sending troops to Lebanon, even though it meant he crossed party lines to vote his conscience.
More recently, he was correct in the surge. He was correct in his Russia-Georgia stance. Senator Obama was out-and-out incorrect on both. Also, Senator McCain's view of Putin is right on. Have we already forgotten Khodorkovsky? Yes, he may have committed tax evasion, but the manner of his arrest is more on the lines of someone having committed global travesties than a white collar crime. Yes, he should have been fined, possibly imprisoned, but the manner in which it was handled threw a huge flag in my direction. (Profile: Mikhail Khodorkovsky). There are other incidents I could mention, but for the sake of "brevity", I'll leave it at this.
CONSTITUTIONALIST. Senator McCain believes judges should interpret the laws of the land according to the original intent of the constitution. I strongly disagree with Senator Obama's interpretation of judicial responsibilities. The next President will have the honor and weighty responsibility to fill over 300 federal judge seats over the next four years. To interpret law independently from the intent of its authors, our founding fathers, is to look at your legs and say, "I don't need you, I have prosthetics ordered." We need a President who will appoint judges who do not legislate from the bench, nor be swayed by silver-tongued lobbyists!
CENTRIST. McCain truly is a legislative centrist, crossing party lines so oft to TRULY affect change. Whereas Obama, who claims to be a centrist, has voted 96.67% with his Party, and 3% not voting at all: McCain Camp Memo on Obama and Bipartisanship and Congress Votes
ABORTION. Senator McCain supports limiting abortion to acts of rape or incest, citing proof of rape as "taking a woman at her word."
INDEPENDENCE. The Federalist papers were written advocating the Constitution's ratification. The Constitution affords our citizens their liberties and rights. Federalism was a huge proponent in securing the ratification of our constitution, and thereby fundamental in securing our individual freedoms/independence. Senator McCain's politics reflect that of our Founding Father's, whose intent for implementing a federal government came after grueling debate with an outcome that a federal government would establish a cohesiveness and communication amongst states. "Federalists," such as McCain, hold to the view of political federalism: "political philosophy in which a group of members are bound together (Latin: foedus, covenant) with a governing representative head. The term federalism is also used to describe a system of the government in which sovereignty is constitutionally divided between a central governing authority and constituent political units (like states or provinces). Federalism is the system in which the power to govern is shared between the national and state governments, creating what is often called a federation. Proponents are often called federalists." (source, wikipedia.com) for more insight, please visit: Federalist Papers. Senator McCain's Federalist viewpoints support our individual and state liberties.
NITTY-GRITTY. When you get down to it, Senator McCain has the intestinal fortitude to get down to the 'nitty gritty' with legislative leadership on the state, federal and international levels. Just as many members of PC posted their disgust with child molesters/rapists, and an intolerance for them, and let their judgment/punishment be swift: No time for diplomacy there. How much the more for a sect who rapes its countrymen's children, mothers, sisters in front of their families? If this is how so many feel about singly executed tragedies (if they did it once, they'll do it again, etc.) but how much the more should our leaders be wary of "diplomacy" with a leader who is internationally notorious for planning, funding, training executioners of and systematically committing such travesties on a global scale?
