Creative Date Ideas: Take an Art Class Together

Of course your kids are your greatest works of art. But, if you're looking for a truly creative date idea with your spouse, why not branch out from the brood and take an art class together? You'll impress your husband with your ultra creative date idea and your fabulous art skills.

An art class is a great bonding activity for couples; it's fun and messy, and at the end of the class, you get to swap works of art! Which means you'll finally get that misshapen mug you've always wanted: lopsided, heavy and covered in your husband's drawings. Swoon!

So, the next time you need a few creative date ideas, grab some smocks, dig your old paint brushes out of the craft drawer (assuming your pet hasn't chewed the bristles off) and get artsy!

• First, decide what kind of art class you'd like to take together. Photography? Sculpture? Figure drawing (which could either ahem, inspire you, or totally kill the mood!)?
