Date Night Ideas for After the Baby Arrives
If the word "date" only makes you think of a certain reddish-brown fruit that's oval in shape and small in size, you and your honey need a serious date night. (And no, falling asleep together on the couch does not count).
But, "who's going to watch the baby," you ask?
Well, consider the possibility that your relatives and friends aren't just being polite when they keep offering to babysit. Take them up on their offer! Use a babysitter checklist to record and post helpful tips and contact info/emergency information info for the babysitter.
If dinner and a movie sounds intimidating (as in, way too much time away from home), try shorter outings that get you out of the house but keep you close by enough so you don't get anxious, like:
Grabbing some coffee and take a long walk.
Hitting your local bookstore for some book browsing.
Going shopping and force yourself to buy something for someone other than the baby. Preferably you.
