Good Date Ideas for Anniversaries
Re-create your first date. Even if you don't live in the same town as you did way back then, think back to how you spent your time together. Reminisce about your first kiss, holding hands, and the moment you knew you wanted there to be a second date.
Put a twist on the traditional. Any greeting card store can tell you the traditional gifts for milestone anniversaries. Why not take that list of gifts and make them a list of to-dos? For your first (paper) write each other love letters detailing how you see your past and future with each other. For your fifth (wood) hike through a forest (go on, make out behind a tree).
Get away. Now is the time to escape for a weekend get away. Fly away to an exotic locale, revisit the town where you fell in love, take a second honeymoon, or play tourist in your hometown.
Remember your wedding. Break out the video and photo album. Laugh about the dated hairstyles and the memory of the baby who cried through half the ceremony. And of course, relive your wedding night.
