Divorce, Depression and Mental Health for Moms
How can I cope with the depression over my divorce?
Acknowledge your sadness and know it is a normal part of the grieving process of a divorce, as are anger and denial. You and your children will not always have the same feelings at the same time so they may be mad when you are sad. It could be useful for you to talk with friends who have worked through a divorce successfully. There are also support groups in the community for people going through divorce. If none of these help, seek professional counseling.
