Relationships: Get Serious!

I live with my boyfriend and my stepdaughter. I was always the one who made the most money in the household. Ever since I became pregnant, work has become a problem. As I approach the end of my pregnancy, I am having a hard time being able to give work my all.
He does construction and hasn't had anything decent to do in two weeks. I am freaking out because I am not paying bills on time with what we are bringing in. He doesn't feel it's his fault.
He says things like, "Well, what do you want me to do?" and "Why dont you have a job that pays more instead of yelling about what mine does?" I feel like he should be working TWO jobs if he had to.
I am worried we are going to lose everything if he doesn't step up. I am also worried I am going to stress myself out too much one of these days. I just wish he was more sympathetic and caring about the whole situation.
