How to Spice Up a Relationship and Be Spontaneous
After a few years of doing the wild thing with the same person, sex can become anything but wild. So if you're looking for ways to spice up a relationship, try being spontaneous! Sure, that's easier said than done when you've got a houseful of kids, 10 loads of laundry and a sink full of dishes, but it is possible. Spontaneity is a surefire way to spice up your relationship and it's a great way to bring back that untamed desire you once had for your spouse. Rrrawwwrrr! Here are a few ways to have spontaneous sex:
- Do it somewhere new. Do you always do the deed in the bedroom (... missionary position, lights on and as quiet as church mice)? Try mixing it up and jump your man's bones in the kitchen or dining room! It's about time you served something up other than chicken nuggets on that dining room table.
- Surprise your guy. Show up at your man's office unexpectedly or tell him to meet you at home for a nooner. Daytime sex can be hot, hot, hot. Especially if you're eyes are drooping with exhaustion by 8pm.
- Wake your lover up in the middle of the night. Men hate being woken up for most things, but sex isn't one of them. If you want to spice up a relationship, roll over in the wee hours and whisper, "Honey, let's do it!" He's eyes will pop right open. (Unlike when you roll over and say, "Honey, go feed the baby." Funny how that works.)
