Eric Stromer's Advice for DIY Construction

Before embarking on any construction project for your home, I always say add 30 percent more time and 30 percent more money to what you think it's going to cost. Use the Internet and research the money and time aspect first. The goal is to have lowered expectations—and you don't want to overbid in time or money.
