Get Organized: Smart Ideas to Store Your Jewelry

Submitted by jacksonmom2
Tired of tangled necklaces and misplaced earrings? Try any of these creative ways to get organized—and you won't hours detangling and searching. Don't worry. They won't cost you a fortune. In fact, you might have some of them lying around the house.

Ice Cube Trays It's super easy and convenient to store your earrings and other jewelry in ice cube trays. Just arrange the trays in your drawer for easy access! They work great for dividing small pieces so they don't get tangled together or mixed up, and you should be able to easily spot what you're looking for. Yay for drawer organization!

Devilled Egg Platter Got one of these as a gift but really don't serve eggs that much? Use it to organize jewelry! Each egg cup is a perfect shape to nestle delicate bracelets, rings or other baubles.

Window Screen How about this creative earring organization tip? Cut a piece from an old window screen and mount it on a frame. Hang it on the wall and attach your earrings by putting the post through each of the screen's holes. Voila! Instant way to get organized.

Tree Branch Get a cool Manzanita—or some other tree—branch at the craft store and place it in a vase on your dresser. Hang beaded necklaces and chains from its branches for an ultra organized jewelry stand.

Cork Board So easy! Use your favorite corkboard to get organized. Simply add thumbtacks (the kind that stick out from the board) and drape a necklace over each one. Give it some extra oomph by covering the board with a stylish fabric and gluing buttons, faux jewel or other embellishments onto each thumbtack.
