Your house is like the Hotel California for toys: They check in no problem, but they never seem to leave. Implement an in-and-out rule at your house: Every time a new toy enters the house, an old toy heads to charity. (Check Volunteerguide.org for donation ideas.) So, next time your kid is begging for another toy, ask him which toy he plans to give away to make up for it. And no, giving away one of his sister's dolls doesn't count.
