4 Ways to Get Rid of Soap Scum

Soap scum stinks! And if you don't have a few tricks up your sleeves, it can seem impossible to clean. But you can get rid of it without hours and hours of scrubbing. Here are some surefire scum-busting tips:

  • Put a few drops of lemon oil in your shower when you bathe. The acid in the lemon will keep soap scum from building up ... and the smell is pleasant and energizing, too!
  • Spray on Scrubbing Bubbles® Mega Shower Foamer when you clean. It's got a wide spray and a powerful foam so it goes on fast, and it eats away at soap scum with virtually no scrubbing.
  • Prevent soap scum from forming by switching from bar soap to liquid body wash. It doesn't stick to tiles the way a good ol' bar of soap does.
  • Wipe down your shower after you use it with a dry washcloth or a squeegee. It'll prevent soap scum from building up in the first place.
