Get Household Chores Done by Planning a Co-Op

My honey's to-do list was too much for one guy to handle, and it was the same for many of our friends. So we created a DIY co-op! Once a month, we all get together on a Saturday or Sunday and become weekend warriors. At one of our houses—while the kids all play together—everyone pitches in to complete whatever needs doing: painting a kitchen, installing blinds, cleaning out the attic, etc. This way, three times a year, my house gets taken care of ... which, frankly, is a lot more often than when my husband was "getting to it" on his own.
