Housecleaning: Remove Gum or Candle Wax From Furniture

Fill a ziplock bag with ice cubes and rub it onto the gum or wax until it hardens. Then chip the gum off with the bottom of a metal spoon or fork. To remove the wax, slowly peel it off with a plastic spoon or spatula.
