Uses for Baby Wipes in Your Home

For home cleanup, use baby wipes to:
  • clean spills and spatters while painting
  • wipe down the leaves of houseplants
  • free dust-bunnies stuck deep in corners
  • pick up fine shards of glass after you drop the jelly jar on the kitchen floor
  • attach to a dust mop (like a Swiffer) to pick up extra dust
  • blot to pick up stains on clothing, upholstery or carpeting
  • get rid of deodorant marks on dark clothing
  • shine up the bathroom sink and fixtures
  • clean fingerprints and crayon marks off of walls
  • remove smudges from windows and mirrors
  • remove stray hairs from pets with a daily rubdown
  • clean off rubber stamps and remove excess glue and ink while scrapbooking
  • clean up leather shoes (add a little petroleum jelly to get a shine)
  • recycle as dust cloths—some brands can be laundered and reused as dust cloths and cleaning rags (just not the ones used for dirty diapers, please!)
  • clean your keyboard and other electronic equipment (but power down first!)
  • wipe down tile walls after your shower to minimize soap scum
  • erase felt tip pen and marker accidents before they are permanent
  • use as a dishcloth
  • clean out the interior of the microwave
  • place a few drops of your favorite essential oil on a wipe and place it in a dresser drawer as a sachet
  • moisten envelope glue before sealing
