Cooking Tips: Substitute for Granulated Sugar

Little Meg just informed you that she needs three dozen homemade chocolate chip cookies for tomorrow's school-wide bake sale. Easy enough, except for the fact that you are completely out of sugar. Instead of traipsing over to Mrs. Beasley's house with a measuring cup in hand, just substitute ¾ cup of confectioner's sugar for every cup of sugar in the recipe. While you're at it, sprinkle some into a hot cup of coffee. It's going to be a long night.
