Here's an easy cooking tip for lifting a heavy turkey out of a pan. Pull off two sheets of heavy-duty aluminum foil about 3 feet long. Now fold them lengthwise into strips about 2" to 2½" wide. Place one lengthwise and one across the bottom of your roaster. Place your turkey on top and make sure they will extend about 6" above the breast. Now fold them down until your turkey is done. When you are ready to remove your bird, pull them to the top of the breast, twist them together and voilà! The perfect turkey sling! No more fighting with forks to get it onto a platter.
