When we were kids, snack cakes were considered essential lunch box fare. Hostess kept us nourished and happy. (And we turned out alright. Mostly.) These days, if you tried to give your kid a Twinkie, the entire playgroup would shoot you the stink eye. ("Do you know what's in those things?") Fine.
