Apply Makeup While Watching Your Toddler

My son HATES it when I'm in the bathroom and the door is shut, and at just 17 months old, I understand. But I can't keep an eye on him in the bathroom when I'm doing my makeup. Well, yesterday I came up with a WONDERFUL solution that leaves everyone happy (including Daddy, since I don't feel so insecure now): Set your toddler down in the driver's seat of the car, take a seat next to him in the passenger's seat. I even turned on the stereo for him and he got to pick the station. For the first time in over a year, I got to wear eyeliner ... and I'm thinking when our daughter is born, I can put her in the car seat if Daddy isn't around to watch her and I can still do my makeup!
