You Can't Pick Your Pregnancy

Even though my husband and I planned our pregnancy and EVERYTHING in the pregnancy happened by the book, once it came time for labor day, EVERYTHING changed dramatically.
At 37 weeks pregnant, the doctor said my fluid was low and the blood supply was low. Of course, I was scheduled for a stress test a week later. I was thinking the whole time, "He might induce me next Monday (it was Friday) or maybe next week ... but no sooner I'm sure." Boy was I wrong ...
After the test he came in and said, "We're going to induce tonight."
My jaw dropped to the floor! My husband was at the gift shop because it was our 10-month anniversary.
I begged the doctor let me get my husband ... but I couldn't find him. His neice was in the waiting room so I told her go get him NOW! I remember the look on his face when I told him they were going to induce tonight. He was grabbing his chest like he was about to have a heart attack.
The next morning, our son was born.
I'll never forget that day. I just hope with our next baby, I go into labor naturally.
