Leah's Grand Entrance!!

First and formost I can honestly say that if I could be pregnant again i would be..i ABSOLUTELY LOVED being preggo,my morning sickness stopped at 3 mons,i ate anything and everything no horrible midnight-having to drive to another borough-type cravings,except for waking up at 4am for a big mac and 10 piece chicken nuggets (10 min drive).Anyway my due date was set for october 22 but i started having contractions sep 29 i dialated 5 cms but my labor stopped and i was sent home,after my due date passed i was over due by 5 days and Princess Leah was in no rush to come out,October 27 i went for my weekly checkup,i was put in the sonogram room thankfully my mom had decide to show up that day,hubby was of course there,as soon as i saw the drs face we all knew something was wrong...my heart literally skipped a beat,my water was low and i had to be induced...can we say nervous?? I was sent to L&D hooked up and put on pitocin i was dealing with the contractions extremely well until i hit 8cms,i think the whole hospital heard me curse!! I was given and epidural at 6:20pm and at 1:45am it was time to push,I pushed and pushed because i couldnt feel my contractions,being that i have a history of arrythmia I started to feel extremely weak,finally my mom sees her head and through the pain and weakness i manage to put aside my biggest worry and utter "Mom please tell me she has hair" to which she happily replied "Yes a hat full of black hair!" then my princess decides she wants to see whos around and turns her head to one of the sides..doctors start arguing what side they should turn her head to..the mama bear instinct kicks in "No noone is turning her head anywhere if you guys don't know" I want a c-section!" I was sent to the OR and at 2:51am at 7lbs 11oz 20 inches long,perfect 10 fingered 10 toes Princess Leah Natalie made her grand entrance into this world and into mommys heart!! 11 hours all worth it and i'd do it again!
