earings are not a thing for a hospital!

ok so when i went into labor it was 18 hours from the time my water broke to the time i had my daughter. during that time alot of things happended but through all the meds there is one thing that stands out in my mind. There was one point that they were checking my dialtaion and the nurse was about elbow deep in me it felt when another nurse walked into the room. The other nurse approached us and said I brought the earings that I made you to my nurse. my nurse respodned by saying oh great ill look at them later! the other nurse then says," no i want to see them on you!" and she proceeds to start putting them into my nurses ears while she has her hand inside me!!!!!!! I think my husband could tell by the look on my face that I was about 2 seconds away from kicking her in the head because he quickly squeezed my hand and smiled at me. The nurse left and I didnt get to kick her unfortunately but i will never forget that. So always remember, whatever it is, if there is a person with there hand inside a pregnant lady in labor, it can wait!!!!!
