Crazy bad braxton hicks!

From about 2 am to 10 am I had severe contractions every 3-5 minutes and 2-3 minutes long each! They were so painful! They kept me up all night. I got to 1.5 centimeters dialated from it, then it slowly stopped.
Has anything like this ever happened to you?

Mine are usually like that too. But this is like my 4th time having it in a series like that, and each time it gets stronger and more painful. I don't know why. I bet when I do go into labor I wont even know it.

None of mine are really are at a designated time...mine are mostly when I get up from sitting, lift something, etc...
