same gender different symtoms
Anyone else have 2 kids of the same gender and feel wretched sick with one and not the other? This baby is def a boy and Royce has made me so sick (over the morning sickness and onto heartburn and constipation). But Alexi didn't much more than grow and sleep on my lungs.

I'm 39 weeks with my second boy and they have been very different! The first one I was sick for the first trimester, this one I had no sickness. The first one I could barely walk from 5 months on due to severe hip pain and this one has been great up until the past few weeks and its only one hip that is bothering me. The first one hardly ever moved and I was always worried about him, this little guy does NOT stop moving, he's been doing painful kicking for a long time and constantly, I have never had a chance to worry about if he's doing ok or not. And the first time I wasn't sleeping more than 4 hours a night from very early on, and this time I'm able to sleep a full night minus the pee breaks :)

YES! My first was a boy and I had hardly any symptoms except some mild nausea. With my daughter it was the same and with this one (also a boy) I felt horrible in the begining, sick all day, and now just so uncomfortable. It is strange how each pregnancy can be so different. So you found out it was a boy? That's exciting! I know you were hopeful for a girl. Did you tell your son yet?
he comes to all my appointments but I dont think he fully understands

This is my fourth and I have 2 of each. With my first pregnancy (DS#1) I wasn't very sick at all, just exhausted at first...but then I got a huge burst of energy in the second trimester. He was pretty much my easiest pregnancy. My cravings with him were spicy foods, burgers, and ice cream, and my only food aversion was turkey in all forms. With DD#1 (second pregnancy), I had the same amount of morning sickness as with DS#1, but nothing that I couldn't deal with, and I was exhausted just like with DS#1. My cravings with her were salads with cold cuts and banana peppers, ice cream, and ice cubes (found out later I was very anemic when I almost bled out during my c-section) and I didn't have any food aversions at all. With DS#2 (third pregnancy), I wasn't sick at all, just tired all the time and never actually got that burst of energy...but my cravings were the same as with DD and I had no aversions at all. So I thought I was having a girl. With this baby (DD#2, fourth pregnancy), I was sick as a dog...I couldn't keep anything down, ginger Altoids and Preggy Pop Drops were my best friends. My aversions were through the roof (still are, kind of). Beef was off the menu for the longest time...still is in some forms (no steak, rarely I'll have a burger, and if I'm not in the mood for a certain food but it's what's available, it will make me gag). I also still throw up at least once a week and haven't gotten that second trimester energy at all. My cravings have been everywhere, but I've craved a lot of fruit, a lot of spicy, ice cream in the beginning, and if I ever see another gummi bear, I'll puke lol. I was hooked for awhile there lol.
So, all of my pregnancies have been different with nothing in common between the sexes. My most "alike" pregnancies were with DD#1 and DS#2... But even then, there were so many things that were different. The only things similar between DD#1 and DD#2 are my cravings for banana peppers and the fact that my nose hairs are out of control... lol
