I'm 16 weeks now and thought it was about time to let my friends and extended family know that I'm expecting! This is how I did it! Just thought I would share! :) If you would like to share the way you broke the exciting news I would love to hear it! :D

I didn't announce my pregnancy in any special way but I did have a gender reveal party with gender revealing cupcakes! Chocolate cupcakes with pink incing in the center of each one and a question mark on the top :) It was a lot of fun and a shock to most everybody who came :)

I'll be through my first trimester around my sister's birthday, I'm thinking I'll give her a card that says "Happy Birthday Aunt" or something and sign it "See you in January"
I can't wait to see the look on her face!

Cute! With my first, we gave our parents and siblings an "invitation to a birthday" card with all the details of when baby was expected to arrive, hospital, doctor, etc. With the other two we just told family and then announced on Facebook.

Found out that I was pregnant on mothers day. So I put a little onesie in a gift bag and presented it to both grandma's as their mothers day gifts. Their jaws dropped.

With our first pregnancy we took a picture of the first ultrasound and took it to a bakery and they put the image on a cake and we presented it after a nice dinner to our families, and they both flipped! However no on wanted to "eat the baby" so we got stuck with a whole cake LOL
Our second pregnancy we were 12 weeks right at Christmas Eve, so we had our 1 1/2 year old son come out after dinner wearing a shirt that said "Big Brother" and it took everyone a minute, but then they figured it out and were thrilled.
