I've heard a lot of different types of births, but never an outdoor birth. Found this online and thought it was interesting. Opinions?

Really not my thing.  I want to be in a hospital when I give birth. I want all the medical intervention at my fingers tips if needed for me and for baby. It was an interesting story, but not my thing.

I'm not into the home birth thing. I'm comfortable in hospitals, especially since I worked at this one for years.... The thought of birthing outside is interesting but a tad too granola to me...

It think that it would be really cool! I have had epidurals with both of mine though. If I ever have another I would like to have a birth in a more relaxing place. Hospitals stress me out.

Hmm, I could never do it. I fully believe that women are strong and amazing, but I prefer drugs & doctors when it comes to birthing my babies. Not my cup of tea.

It's interesting, pretty much a new twist on a home birth. I think the biggest issue with it (besides medical intervention like all home births have a risk of, but of course it would be for low-risk pregnancies) is whether or not a person's insurance would cover it. I'm assuming that a doula or midwife would be expensive out of your own pocket (I haven't had any kids yet and won't be for another 2-3 years until I graduate from college and get a job).
