My periods after my first kid are normal. 29 day cyle/ lasts about 6 days. No heavy cramping but they are heavy periods. I was supposed to start my period in 3 days. I started it last night right before I was going to take a pregnancy test. I did some research on implantation spotting...I bled for 3-4 days with my first child but idk if it was this heavy or not. Does anyone else have implantation spotting about as heavy as a period? My fiance and I have been trying to get pregnant for 5 months now. I was ovulating and had sex during those times. I just really hope it's not a period. And if it is...why is it 3-4 days early???

Please not I have not drank alchohol in 3 weeks or so. Haven't done anything abnormal. I do hike 4 days a week or atleast try to. and I'm very active. please let me know with replies.

Inplantation usually happens 6-12 days after you ovulate. So you would probably start seeing it around 9 to 10 days after ovulation. The key here is that actual implantation spotting doesn't typically resemble a period. It's usually light pinkish red or dark brown (old blood) and isn't enough to look like a period, though some women will say it's a period because any type of blood coming from there is what they think a period is. Usually it's just drops here and there if it's implantation. I had implantation bleeding with my first pregnancy, and it was right around when my period was due. It was dark brown and was enough that I felt I had to use a tampon and I thought my body was acting up and didn't think anything of it (breakthrough bleeding and anovulatory cycles were normal for me up until then).

What you could be experiencing is breakthrough bleeding. Sometimes stress and other factors cause our cycles to screw up and you can end up with a short Leuteal Phase (the time after ovulation) which causes an early period.

All that said, some women experience vaginal bleeding throughout pregnancy anyway...and sometimes it's right around when they would get their period normally. So really, it could go either way. I would wait a few days and see if it's still going on. Test on the day your period is normally due and see what happens.

The nausea can't be from baby yet it would be wayy to soon. But I think it could be implantation spotting. That is sometimes how women do not know they are pregnant because there is enough spotting to make them think it is a period. But it could also be an early period due to stress of trying to get pregnant which can mess with things. If your oeriod is quite a bit lighter than usual then it just may be implantation spotting. I would just take a test. if you are pregnant than you are far enough along for it to be positive ( i know this is not in all cases) But for most women a test will show positive as long as it is not a cheap cheap one. First response is great!!

Good luck!! I hope you get the test result you are looking for!

Also I forgot to mention, Yesterday I went to pick up an ab circle pro on my way there, I felt like I needed to pull over to vomit for 30min or so. I felt nautious most of the evening and looking at my food made me want to gag.
