I might like Zelda if the association with the video game weren't so strong. Maybe it could be a nickname for Griselda, which I think is gorgeous. 

Unfortunately, though, I instantly picture the video game character. :'( It would almost be like naming my kid Cinderella. I also think of part of Weird Al's song "Albuquerque"... "And as luck would have it, that's when I ran into the girl of my dreams. Her name was Zelda. She was a calligraphy enthusiast with a slight overbite and hair the color of strained peaches." So needless to say, the name comes off as strange and geeky to me, even if it has a nice sound.

I love Magdalina! Zelda's not my cup of tea ;) but they do go well together. I love pp's suggestion of Magda(lina) and Zara as a sibset.

lol, u do realize though that it was a name lng before it was a vid game?? i know its anot a fan fave around here thats ok, i just love the spunk.

Honestly i'm not sure why someone would name their child after a video game character. Its like naming the kid Mario, hopefully he doesnt grow up to be a plumber.

That is an awesome sibset!  I would have liked Magda and Zelda or Magda and Zara better...  I dunno, Zelda's okay, but almost TOO spunky for me.  I do like it well enough, though.  I like Magdalina a lot, actually, but prefer Magda, then Madelina, and then Magdalena.  :)

I love the name Zelda!  IF (and there's like only a 5% chance of this) I got remarried & decided to have a child and the father actually liked the name (takes it down to a 1% chance lol), I'd totally use the name Zelda.  If not I'd push for Nadia or Liana.

Magdelina is a bit too much for me though.  But, the NN Mags is cute.
