My husband and I are hoping to start a family at some point in the near future. We talked names and I absolutely love Memphis Aislinn if we end up with a girl. Opinions ????

Maybe spell it Ayslin then if you want it pronounced that way? Or Azelin?

I understand that in Ireland it would be pronounced Ashlin however I am certain if I went to Italy where my name is from they would pronounce it entirely different from the way I say it so I am ok with it not being 100 % true to the irish pronunciation but say it as Azelin

Quoting AnnunziataAlexis

aislinn is pronounced aze-lin not ash-lin. and the spelling is straight from the baby book lol I was always kinda partial to spelling it Aislyn but Aislinn is how my mother would have used it

Uh... no it's definitely 'ash-lin'. It's Irish.

when said alongside your last name, memphis aislinn chrisco has a lovely ring to it!! and such a nice meaning - a beautiful dream!!!

another good thing about the name memphis is there aren't many nicknames that can come from it, im not much of a nickname person!

good luck xx

Yeah Aislinn was the name my mother would have used had she ever had another girl so it has to stay if it helps my last name is Chrisco so I think when it is said all together it works plus when I researched memphis it means established and beautiful so I thought that would sound nice to say her name means beautiful dream/vision.

i love aislinn, i think its really pretty and love that it means dream! ive never heard memphis used as a first name before although, the film memphis belle always sounded like a really cool name for a girl!!  im not sure how well memphis aishlinn go together though, would you consider using another middle name or are you fixed on aislinn?
