cute or classy?
We love Rosalie and Emilia... But what do you like more? Those two classy names, or a cute name like Madelyn nn Maddie?

I would agree that classy is the best route to take. If your daughter wants to be cute (and of course you want her to be at some point!) then Rosie and Emy work really well. I would probably even use Lili (prn lee-lee) for both names and Mia, Mimi, Lia, and Mila for Emilia. However, it would be really nice to give your daughter the gift of options. If she wants to let close friends and family call her Rosie, that's fine; she can have employers and acquaintances call her Rose or Rosalie. Emilia can be Emilia in the same situation, but be Emy and Mimi with friends and family. I love both, by the way! I honestly can't pick my favorite!

I love Madeleine, but only spelled this way. I think this spelling takes it out of the cute category and into the classy. I also really like Emilia (my DD is Amelia) and Rosalie. Either way, you can't really go wrong.
As a general rule though, I'd go with classy over cute. Classy ages well, cute doesn't.

I have loved all three at some point. Right now Madelynn is at the tip top of our girls list. Emilia is up there too, and we did drop Rosalie.
Madelynn- Love the nn Maddie, and Madelynn is perfectly suitable for an adult as well.
Emilia- Such a beautiful sophisticated name. I love E names :)
Rosalie- I also like this very much, would hate the name Rosie, Rosa would be alright.

Classic and classy over cute ANY DAY OF THE WEEK! "Cute" names tend to age poorly. I love Madeleine, but only on a little girl. On an adult, it feels very young.
On the other hand, Rosalie and Emilia would be so sweet on a little toddler, and would also age well. "Introducing Dr. Rosalie Smith", or "Welcome, President Emilia Miller". Those I can see!!

I love Rosalie and Emilia! They are both so pretty. I might slightly prefer Emilia, though.

I like Madelyn the best, then Rosalie, then Emilia. They are all lovely names.

Emilia for me! Rosalie is lovely, but I've never been crazy about Rose/Rosie/Rosa, which I would think a Rosalie would get at some point. I love Emilia and Emmy, Emma, Mila, Millie, Lia, Mia, etc. are all adorable. I like Madelyn, but only spelled the traditional French way, Madeleine. Even spelled Madeleine, I like Emilia more, though. Maybe Emilia Violet, Emilia Madeleine, or Emilia Rosalie?

Classy all the way!!!
I love all three of these names... But Rosalie is my favorite. Emilia I love, but only as a mn, because if it was a first name it would likely get shortened to Emily or Emmy. Same thing with Madelyn.

Of the three, Rosalie is my favorite! Madelyn is way over done, and Emilia would be Emmy most likely and there are tons of Emmy's out there.
