And which of these boy names do you like the best? (Again, our twin boys are named William (Will) and Alexander (Alex))

* Elijah (this was one of our top 4 last time and DH's far and away favorite ... we have THREE little Elijahs in the church nursery right now though so I'm not in favor)

* Isaac

* Oliver

Thanks for the responses! Very helpful!I do like Elias but it sounds sort of rhymey with our last name.

Oliver is probably my favorite but I go back and forth between it and Isaac; I really love them both. I love Old Testament/Hebrew names in general but could keep them in the middle name spot like we did for Will and Alex (William Gabriel & Alexander Emmanuel).

And pp, I know what you mean; I used to think of Oliver as boring too but after hanging out with my British BFF's cousin Oliver/Ollie, I feel like it has a handsome, dashing vibe to it too (especially with an English accent ;) ).

I like all three names, you can't really go wrong imo.

Elijah--I hear this is super popular (clearly where you live), but in my entire life, I have only known of one Elijah.  He is a year and a half old.   So based on my demographics, I'd probably pick this one.

Isaac--This name has really grown on me lately.  My only hang up with it is that I feel like Alex and Isaac sound very similar when you say them aloud.  Maybe it's just me.

Oliver--I'm not crazy about the nn Ollie, but I love Oliver.  Based on your other boys and demographics, I'd stick to this one.

So based on all that, my vote goes to OLIVER!!

I think Oliver definitely works best with Will and Alex. Elijah and Isaac have a hebrew/biblical feel, which I love, but doesn't work as well with William and Alexander.

HTH Luv Sar xoxo

OLIVER... Definately. Not only does it go with your other boys' names sooooo well. It's just the best name out of those three. I love it :)

All three are perfection, seriously. You cannot go wrong with these great, classic names.

With William and Alexander, I think I like Oliver best. It feels classic and less Biblical, which goes with the 2 names. Will, Alex, and Ollie are very cute!!

I like them all!  If I would nix one, it would be Elijah--I'm sure I've said this on here before, but I've met at least 20 Elijahs in the past 2 or 3 years, and I'm just sick of hearing it.  If you have several in your church, though, I would definitely reconsider, even if the popularity wasn't an issue!  Elijah also ranks number 13...  It wouldn't surprise me if it breaks the top 10 next year (although I'm not sure if that's an issue anymore, since Will and Alex's names are so popular...).

Isaac - absolutely adore.  My favorite for sure.  It's got this vintagey, pilgrim vibe and the Biblical Isaac is such a great namesake.  It's climbing the top 100 pretty quick, but I think it'll stay out of the top 20 for a while, at least.  :)  I like Oliver a lot, too, but I like Isaac the best.  :)

Oliver - I figured I should at least comment on this, too.  :)  I used to find it boring but it's so classic and it's grown on me a lot.  I don't really love the nn Ollie, but it is a really cute and refreshing name, and I would love to meet a little Oliver!  I nearly added it to my list a couple days ago but with Olivia being in my top 3 for girls, I figured I'd better not, haha.

I love them all. I have a friend with a baby named Elijah and my sister is going to have her first next month and is naming him Isaac.

Instead of Elijah, what about Elias?

Thanks. :) And true, Oliver is the least popular of the 3 right now. It's shot up a lot though; I remember it being around 200-something and in 2011 I think it was #78 or something like that. I am torn between Isaac and Oliver; I love both. (Oliver Isaac could maybe work too though. Our boys both have Old Testament middle names so that would fit the pattern. Or we might go with Daniel as a MN after DH's best friend.)

I adore Oliver, especially with William & Alexander! That is the most handsome siblings set I've heard in a long time :) Elijah is everywhere now, I hear it atleast once a day it seems like. Isaac is okay, just not my favorite.
