Bella or Anna.
I know I know. I will never be satisfied until I come up with the right combo. Please forgive me lol.
Anyway, since I've been working at the pre-school we have gotten two Bella/Bela's. This makes a total of 3 I believe. While I love the name Isabella I don't think I could have my child growing up and being in school and the teacher says Bella and five little girls turn around. I totally wish this name wasn't sooooooo popular.
My Isabella combo was Isabella Raye to honor my grandfather. Now I'm thinking about Anna Raye after him and myself(My mn is Ann).
WDYT of the Anna Raye and could I call her AnnaRaye- one word? our Last name is five letters and starts with a B
ohh and i need some new names so if you have any that you think would fit me then please share away. Thanks=)))

Oh, just thought of this idea for you (I won't edit because that will make the post go all weird): What about Annabel(le/la) Raye B-----? That way you'd have all 3 names that you love. She could always go by Ann(e/ie), Bell(e/a), or Raye, depending on how many there are with the same or similar name locally.

Annabel(le) or Annabella would be the best of both worlds.
I agree with this. Good luck!

I'm not a huge fan of Bella, and the popularity has killed it for me too (Though I love Belle, and it's got the same problem - too many Bellas/Isabellas/Isabelles, etc.) I think Anna's a better choice, I do not like AnnaRaye combined like that, though. Random capitals in the middle of the name drive me nuts. Annaraye is just as effective, or, a double first name - Anna Raye ____, which I like the looks of better.... Or just Anna with Raye as the middle name, and you can call her by both names, but she'll be just Anna to most people.

I love both names.
Personally, I would probably name her Anna Raye (possibly with a second MN). You can call her Anna Raye even if it's not spelled as one word but I think that would give her more flexibility as an adult if she doesn't want to go by a double name.

I think we decided to go with AnnaRaye. and I think we might use another mn for it. suggestions? AnnaRaye _____?

I prefer Anna to Belle/Bella any day. I like Isabella but I'm over hearing it everywhere. One of my coworkers is pregnant and considering this name. I've been trying to sway her to her other choice because of the popularity. (she is a Jennifer and I told her...you know how much you hated being Jennifer L...your baby is going to have the same problem if you name her Isabella).
I do not personally know any Anna's (it was my Great Grandmothers name but that doesn't count).

Yeah thats the thing I live in Alabama. that is DEF a southern name imo. IDK Cody says he doesnt care that she wouldnt be the only one in her class but its bothers me a little. Im not real sure why though. I mean Anna is still really popular too right?
lol, well, it depends on where you live! Annabel is seen as quite an English/British name, too, although I know it is considered quite Southern-belle.
But yes, Anna is quite popular, too! I have never met one, I don't think, but it is in the top 50. Not as popular as Isabella, but still quite popular.

I think it would be annoying if there were to be lots of Isabella's in one class. She would forever be going by Isabella B when she was at school!
I absoutely adore the name Anna and Anna Raye is gorgeous! Other options are Annabelle like Ash suggested or even Annabella. That way you can call her Bella at home but at school she could be Anna or Annabelle/a?

Anna Raye/AnnaRaye is really cute, though, and if you prefer just Anna, I think that's fine.

I love Bella! I know it's so popular but I can't help absolutely adoring it. Isabella Raye is so cute, too. What about Annabelle Raye? If the Belle/Bella part is too popular, you could still call her Anna but you still have the frilly -belle/bella ending, and it also honors you and your grandfather still? And you could still call her Bella at home, if you like.
